About Patricio Cury Pastene
Patricio Cury Pastene is a lawyer and mediator with extensive experience in family, commercial, and criminal matters. For the last ten years, in compliment to his law practice, he has taught at law schools in universities in Valparaíso. He is a frequent participant and speaker at international academic conferences and congresses in Argentina, Colombia, Spain, and the U.S. He was awarded a scholarship from the government of Japan to study intellectual property law in Osaka in 2004 and a Hague Academy Scholarship to attend the 39th external session, held in Buenos Aires in 2012.
Litigation Practice
Mr. Cury focuses his practice on family law, including family business matters. His litigation practice includes criminal law, especially juvenile offenders, domestic violence, and medical malpractice matters. He also advises clients in commercial law and consumer matters, including individuals and small and medium enterprises. In 2017, as President of the Electoral College of Quillota, he was designated a public defender, and in this role provides defense on behalf of minors, the elderly, the mentally ill, and other persons unable to stand trial.
